October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. This cause particularly hits home for our team, as we are one of many who have lost loved ones to this disease. The SWAG family would like to do our part in raising awareness and support for Breast Cancer Research

According to breastcancer.org, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American women. About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. In 2022, an estimated 287,500 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 51,400 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer. On average, every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States.

Since ancient times, the Ruby gemstone has been thought to bring power, mental strength, and good fortune to those in possession of the gem. As a faster bag, the Ruby will allow you to play a power game if you choose, easily sliding through opponent’s blockers and cleaning up the board. The slow side of the Ruby rates as a 6 on the speed scale, fast enough to slide in on an open board with our pro glide resin, but can still be used as a blocker. The fast side grades out as a 9 on the speed scale and is very hole friendly, allowing players to push bags with ease. With a slightly smaller template than many bags of similar speeds, these bags can split gaps and slither their way into the hole. Once broken in the bags have a medium fill (not too overly floppy), allowing them to maintain their force on push shots.

Because of the delicate fabrics used on these types of bags, they are prone to snags on boards that are not coated correctly. Some of the fabrics don't like heat, please do not boil or put in the dryer with heat.
