October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. This cause particularly hits home for our team, as we are one of many who have lost loved ones to this disease. The SWAG family would like to do our part in raising awareness and support for Breast Cancer Research

According to breastcancer.org, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American women. About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. In 2022, an estimated 287,500 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 51,400 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer. On average, every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States.
